ABOUT US

Oconee River Resource Conservation and Development Council (RC&D) is a non-profit (501c3) organization serving the 15-county region of Baldwin, Barrow, Clarke, Elbert, Greene, Hancock, Jackson, Jones (newly added), Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Putnam, Taliaferro and Walton Counties. Working with a variety of partners, including the US Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA-NRCS), Oconee River RC&D strives to improve the quality of life in our region by protecting and improving our natural resources while also improving the local economy. The Council offers a unique vehicle to plan, develop strategies, secure funding, and implement projects to improve the quality of life for local citizens.
